If you haven’t seen her before, then where have you been?
She has catapulted her way into the fashion industry, with her individual style, and artisitic flare Payzee, also known as ‘Fetishforfinefabrics’ on Instagram continues to stun us with her choice of outfits and carefully picked accessories.
Payzee designs and makes her own pieces of which she displays on the Instagram page ‘HerMade’. Every outfit continues to spark inspiration for us all with her unique pieces that certainly draw attention. I met Payzee at both The Edit launch party and the Utter Couture party , both times my jaw was left on the floor by her outfits…absolutely fine shall we say?
I recently contacted Payzee asked her to answer a few questions to share with you all.

VY:UK What made you get into designing?
I grew up watching my mother sew and starting secretly using her machine to alter my school uniform because I was very slim and hated how big everything fit on me. So I would alter my school trousers and make them fitted. I then started doing that very often with my other clothes and playing around with ideas. I then started cutting and making free hand, I had no idea about patterns and blocks. A few years ago I bought my own sewing machine and started making clothes more often for myself and realised I was actually quite good at it, from there I was making different outfits for different occasions and also people/artists.
VY:UK What's your favourite piece or pieces you've designed?
My favourite piece I have designed is a gold and black mesh face mask with a dress to go with it.
Here, yet again Payzee shows us what she’s made of… or what she’s made at London Fashion Week. The gold face mask is a beautiful way to add something statement to your outfit to catch people’s eyes whilst being reserved and mysterious at the same time. Here she pairs it with an all-black outfit that completely compliments the rich gold mask. All black outfits are becoming the perfect way to look good and on trend whilst keeping it simplistic.

VY:UK Where do you get your inspiration from?
I get a lot of inspiration from things I don't see. I imagine how different something could look and just create it. My middle eastern gives me so much inspiration too, I feel like making clothes and wearing them is freedom for me. Freedom to create and bring to life my ideas. I came to this country with my family in the 90s and again I feel so much of my inspiration comes from all the things I saw and experienced in the 90s, it's my second favourite era for fashion.
I think a lot of people just look at trend and take it on fully, I like to break it down and see the elements that most people don't see, I hope that makes sense, my mind works in a weird way when looking at clothes I don't see the trend I see the process that would have happened to create that trend and that's what for me allows me to make my own trends from the inspiration I get from a particular trend.
Here Payzee is wearing not double denim… but triple denim and boy does she pull it off! She dared this denim dream to the London Fashion Week recently and wowed everyone.

VY:UK How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as free. I don't have a particular look or style I go for, it can change daily depending on how I feel or what has inspired me. I can dress smart (in my own way) one day and wear triple denim the next. I feel free when I wake up and decide what to wear that day. I don't have any restrictions in how I dress or design.
VY:UK Where do you see yourself in a few years time?
I see myself having put out some beautiful garments as part of long awaited collections. In 5 years my brand will be established and internationally sold. HerMade will be my freedom to express and bring my ideas to life whilst making customers happy to clothe themselves in the garments.
I see myself living in Paris or New York and having my own design studio.
