Her name either sparks feelings of excitement or disgust, I don’t think the internet really has a healthy balanced view on Kylie. We either hate or love her but regardless of what you think of her, no one can deny her impact within both the fashion and beauty industry, whether it’s negative or positive.

I can’t officially pin point the day or the week or the month that Kylie made her debut into the Instagram community but when she did the internet exploded and brought forward the need to debate whether the content was suitable for her age. And even though most opinions steer towards to the idea that she sets a bad example for teenage girls by growing up too fast, I have the argument that because of the environment she has grown up being completely immersed in the spotlight, she’s had no choice but to grow up quicker because she hasn’t been able to grow up normally and go through weird teen stages because she’s had the public eye on her for so long.

But if we look at the her internet fame, her modelling fame and her business fame, for an 18 year old young girl who’s been slaughtered by critics and haters all her life but has still managed to stay sane and build herself an empire regardless of the negative groups she has been confronted with. And even with the surgery rumours, she can still be considered quite an empowering 21st century role model for young woman.

Whether she has the Kardashian stigma attached to her name.
